Grading and base prep that sets up a solid pour.

The Service

The Part You Don't See That Makes It Last

Most concrete failures start in the dirt. If the ground isn't graded, filled, and compacted right, even a perfect pour will crack, settle, or pond water. We do the grade work that sets up a solid slab: cut and fill to the right elevations, proper base material, slope for drainage, and compaction that holds.

Prepping for a driveway, pad, or building foundation, or fixing a low, wet, or uneven area? We'll come out, look at the site, and tell you what it needs.

We serve all of Volusia County, from Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach to Port Orange, DeLand, and New Smyrna Beach. Not in one of those cities? Just ask, we likely cover you.

Good Questions

Grade Work FAQs

Do you do grade work on its own, or only with a pour?
Both. We do site prep as part of our concrete projects, and we also take on grading and base work to get a site ready. Tell us what you're planning and we'll scope it.
Do you serve my city or area?
We cover all of Volusia County, from Daytona Beach, Ormond, Port Orange, and New Smyrna to DeLand, Deltona. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask.
Can you fix a low or wet spot in my yard?
Often, yes. We grade and fill low areas and correct drainage so water moves away instead of ponding. We'll look at the spot and tell you honestly what will and won't fix it.
Why does base prep matter so much?
Because the ground carries the slab. If it isn't graded, filled, and compacted right, even a perfect pour will crack and settle. We don't skip the prep to come in cheaper.
Do you handle fill and haul-away?
Yes. We bring in and compact fill where it's needed and haul away old concrete, debris, and spoil so the site is ready to pour.
